I had the great fortune of seeing a fabulous old Pittsburgh home stuck in a time where wallpaper was king and all carpet was green. It is a truly beautiful home that I wish I could have seen furnished, as I’m sure it was absolutely fantastic.
Nothing gets me like this silver mylar printed with green fern fronds.
Yesss lobster light. Live. Your. Life.
I would live here in a minute.

♥️ Love it.
Reminds me a lot of the decor in our old house! Except the green carpet had the ferns and the walls were solid. Remember those green leather couches? YIKES!
Oh yessss! There was that brass wall/divider thing too when you went up the stairs. Meemmmmoorriiiesss!
Apart from the kitchen (which I find really hateful) I would SO like to live here – excellent taste…. could be a wonderful home with very little changes. I would kill for that fern wallpaper!
Visiting your blog from Design Sponge. I bookmarked after the first page and now I am tearing through the archives with giddy joy. I have to admit that the lobster light caused me to say “OH NO” so loudly that my kid was like “What’s wrong, Mom?” Uh. Maze.
Oh my gosh that is so great – that lobster light is 100% worthy of an oh no! So glad you’re here, thank you for bookmarking!
